Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau flaunt their blooming romance the way couples do nowadays: through social media.
On Saturday, December 6, 2025, Katy confirmed that she and Justin are dating by sharing photos and videos on Instagram from her recent trip to Japan, including a snap and clips of the two of them together.
One photo shows the singer and politician, cheek-to-cheek and smiling, enjoying the outdoors in their comfy jackets.
A video shows Katy eating sushi while sitting close to Justin, who watches her endearingly as she enjoys the delicacy.
There’s also a clip of the two standing with their backs to the camera as they watch an art installation of ascending lights.

ROMANCE RUMORS
Katy and Justin were first linked in July of this year after they were spotted going out for dinner in Montreal, Canada.
Justin was then seen watching Katy's concert in Montreal, which was part of the "Roar" singer's stop for her Lifetimes Tour.
By early October, reports claimed their romance was growing serious, though the two chose to keep things low key to avoid too much attention.
An insider reportedly told Us that the singer was "very happy" and "trying to keep it low-key, and they've spent a lot of private time together."
Katy, according to the source, was "not looking to publicize" the relationship.
They were certainly not discreet on October 25, during Katy’s 41st birthday, when they were spotted holding hands as they left Crazy Horse Paris.
It was also worth mentioning that Katy and Justin were photographed kissing and cuddling on a yacht in Santa Barbara, California, on October 11.

Katy was previously in a nine-year relationship with actor Orlando Bloom. They have a daughter named Dove, who is currently five years old.
