Scarlett Johansson has given birth to a baby girl.
The 29-year-old actress and her fiancé Romain Dauriac welcomed their first child together into the world and have named her Rose.
A representative for the couple said Scarlett and the little one are both doing well following the birth, but they are seeking privacy and they do not wish for their baby girl to grow up in the spotlight.
The loved-up pair, who started dating in 2012, sparked rumors they were expecting a child together in March this year, just three months after Scarlett revealed that she was keen to start a family.
She said at the time: "I would like to have my own family, that would be nice.
"They say it's never the right time and I am sure that's true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else.
"At some point it is something I look forward to."
Scarlett and Romain, 31, got engaged in August 2013, but the Captain America: The Winter Soldier star doesn't want to "rush" tying the knot as "being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and to really savour."
This will be Scarlett's second time down the aisle as she was previously married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 until 2011.
