Following the child abuse allegation thrown at Brad Pitt, the FBI (Federal Bureau Investigation) is presently evaluating whether or not to launch an investigation.
Because the alleged incident happened in the air, while Brad and Angelina Jolie were traveling from France to the United States, the case would fall under the FBI's jurisdiction.FBI told BBC, "In response to your inquiry regarding allegations within the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States; specifically, an aircraft carrying Mr Brad Pitt and his children, the FBI is continuing to gather facts and will evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued."
According to reports, the 52-year-old actor allegedly got verbally abusive aboard the family’s private jet.
The Telegraph wrote that Brad "lunged" at his adopted son Maddox when the latter jumped into the argument in defense of his mom.
Brad was said to be drunk when he began to argue with Angelina.
The incident was said to be the last straw for the actress who filed for divorce on September 20.

Brad's friends, however, see these allegation as part of a 'smear campaign' against the actor.
Telegraph wrote, "One friend of Pitt's called the allegations 'exaggerated and fabricated,' while another said Pitt was furious at the way he had been portrayed after news of the pending divorce broke."
