A lone sole seeks its missing mate,

A crimson kiss upon its fate.

Four inches high, a daring stride,

Size forty-one, where could it hide?

Found by our enforcers, a watchful eye,

At the O-shaped bridge, beneath the sky.

Though knocking doors, a tedious quest,

A quicker path, we put to the test.

THE OWNER OF THE SHOE

BAGUIO CINDERELLA 2.0 UPDATE!

Oh, lonesome slipper, thy owner we sought

Our dauntless pursuit was not for naught

At long last, the rightful claimant has come hither

To reunite the left to the right slipper

From lands afar, this maiden came

Beautiful Nigeria, a kingdom of fame

Mist-kissed Baguio, now her second home

A pilgrimage of knowledge, she's pursuing alone

From church she came, her steps did wander

Unwittingly, off her bag strayed a slipper

The morning dawned, the truth laid bare

A single slipper, a missing pair

THE AUTHOR OF THE POEMS

Aniya tungkol sa may-ari ng nawawalang sapatos: "Na-realize niya nung Sunday na nawala niya yung shoe, pero she was too tired to look for it. And eventually, on Tuesday, somebody notified her," ulat ng ABS-CBN News.

Sabi niya sa Rappler, “The more traction, the higher the chance the owner would come across the post.”

Post naman ni Daryll sa kanyang Facebook account: “I knew it would become viral, at least locally.

“That was my intention after all - the more traction, the better chances of the post reaching 'Cinderella,' which would result to our ultimate goal of reuniting the wayward shoe to its owner.

“But I never expected it would explode to this extent.”

NOOD KA MUNA!

NOT THE FIRST TIME

You may bring your Prince Charming who could put the sandal on you… if it fits!”
