Matatagpuan sa bayan ng Campuestohan sa Negros Occidental ang napaka-unique at napakalaking landmark—isang gusali na hugis higanteng tandang o manok na panabong.
Ang pinakabagong tourist spot ay tinawag na Campuestohan Highland Resort, at may building na ang sukat ay 34.931 meters (114 ft 7 in) in height, 12.127 meters (39 ft 9 in) in width, and 28.172 meters (92 ft 5 in) in length.

Opisyal din itong kinilala ng Guinness World Records bilang “largest building in the shape of a chicken.”

OWNER NG HOTEL GUSTONG LUMIKHA NG “UNTHINKABLE”
Ang may-ari ng hotel ay nakilalang si Ricardo Tan.
Sa panayam ng GWR, sinabi ni Ricardo na isa siyang dreamer, at nais niyang lumikha ng isang bagay na “unthinkable.”

Aniya, anim na buwan niyang pinag-isipan ang concept at pagpaplano kung paano ipapatayo ang building.
Sinimulang gawin ang Campuestohan Highland Resort noong June 10, 2023.
Natapos ito noong September 8, 2024—at agad ding nakuha ang GWR title.
Opisyal itong nagbukas noong October 19.
Kahit hugis-tandang, ang Campuestohan Highland Resort ay isang hotel na may 15 rooms.
Bawat kuwarto ay kumpleto sa air conditioning system, may komportableng kama, malaking TV set, at hot shower.
Ideal ito para sa mga pamilya o grupo na gustong mag-relax o kaya ay mag-unwind.

CHALLENGING ANG PAGPAPATAYO NG HOTEL DAHIL SA DISENYO
Aminado si Ricardo na dahil sa unique design ng building, napaka-challenging ng pagtatayo nito.
Kailangan ding masiguro na matibay ang gusali dahil madalas dalawin ng bagyo at iba pang kalamidad ang rehiyon.

Sa kabila nito, nagawang matapos ang pagtatayo ng resort sa loob lang 456 days.
Nang tanungin kung bakit hugis-tandang ang gusali, ani Ricardo, “Negros Occidental has a game fowl industry that employs millions of people in the Philippines.
“If you look at a rooster, it looks calm and commanding, imposing and strong which reflects the attitude of our people."

HOTEL. MALAKI ANG AMBAG SA TURISMO SA REHIYON
Ang lupang pinagtayuan ng resort ay nabili ng asawa ni Ricardo na si Nita noong 2010.
Nagulat umano silang mag-asawa matapos linisin ang property dahil meron pala itong napakagandang view ng kabundukan.
Sa kabila ng mga balakid, gaya ng kawalan ng maayos na daan at supply ng kuryente, naglakas-loob silang ipatayo ang resort.

Sa ngayon, ang resort ay may malaking wave pool.
Mayroon din itong malaking restaurant, cafe, tatlong swimming pools, hotel rooms, bonita huts, at daan-daang dinosaurs and cartoon and Marvel figures.
Naging landmark naman ang gusali—na labis na ipinagmamalaki ng pamilya ni Ricardo at ng mga taga-Negros Occidental.
“I feel proud and humbled at the same time,” ani Ricardo.
“I'm proud to have put my province and my home country on Guinness World Records.
“Humbled as I am from a poor upbringing where I had to work as a shoeshine boy to earn a living and go to school.”
Isang buwan matapos buksan ang resort sa publiko, nagsimula na raw itong dagsain ng mga turista.
Kinilala rin ng Department of Tourism ang resort bilang malaking bahagi ng tourism landscape ng Negros Occidental.
