Noong July 25, 2025, nag-post ito ng photo ng isang bata na nakahiga sa sementadong kalsada na may drawing ng isang babae.
Ang caption sa larawan, published as is: “In a deeply moving scene from an orphanage, a young boy found a unique way to cope with missing his mother.
“Yearning for the love and security he once knew, he took chalk and carefully drew a life-sized picture of his mom on the playground floor.

Ayon pa sa madamdaming caption, makaka-relate daw ang lahat ng nakaranas na mawalay sa mga mahal sa buhay.

“It was comfort, connection, and a way to keep his mother’s love alive in his heart.

Batay sa naging talakayan sa comments section, may nagsabing ang bata ay nasa isang orphanage sa Afghanistan.
Marami sa mga nagkomento ang nagsabing kung may kapasidad lang sila, aampunin nila ang bata.
Anang isang netizen, “This is probably the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. Someone adopt this poor boy and love him with all your heart.”
Susog ng isa pa: “As heartbreaking as it is, at least he is getting some comfort. I can feel his despair.
“I hope he found a permanent home and someone to love and comfort him.”
May mga naka-relate din sa pinagdaraanan nito ngayon: “This just brought tears to me. As I was a child that was placed in Russian orphanage cause my parents were alcoholics.
“Got adopted to America when I was young. Have my own kids now and I could never imagine how hard it would be for a parent to put their kids in orphanage to try and give the better life.

Kung binanggit ng Today i Learned na lalaki ang bata, sa naunang version ay babae ang itinampok.
Hindi rin Afghan ang bata.
May nagsabing Iraqi.
Pero talagang nag-e-exist ang image na ito.
Gayunpaman, ang mga backstories na karaniwang kaakibat nito ay hindi totoo.

PHOTOGRAPHER DETAILS THE TRUTH ABOUT THE KID IN PHOTO
Ang larawan ay kuha raw ng Iranian photographer na si Bahareh Bisheh.
Ang original nito ay ini-upload niya sa photo-sharing site na Flickr noong June 21, 2012.
Walang ginawang explanation si Bahareh tungkol sa larawan.
Nilagyan lang niya ito ng caption na: “I have a mother.”
Nang magsimulang mag-viral ang larawan kalakip ang malungkot na kuwento tungkol sa batang orphan na nangungulila sa ina, lumantad si Bahareh.
Ibinahagi niya ang totoong kuwento tungkol sa larawan.
Aniya: “This little girl is my cousin, and she actually fell asleep on the asphalt just outside my house.
“She must have played for some time and just lied to rest and fell asleep.”
Dagdag pa ni Bahareh at paglilinaw: “I used a chair to stand on in order to take this shot.
“There is no orphanage involved and no tragic story behind this. I took this opportunity to be creative.”
Ibinahagi rin ni Bahareh na big fan siya ng ganitong style of photography.
Kabilang ito sa kanyang album kung saan tampok ang bird's eye view ng batang babae na nasa loob ng iba’t ibang chalk drawings.
Ang nag-viral na version ay ini-upload sa Instagram ng user na may handle na @arte_metaverse last February 24, 2025.
At bagama’t 2012 pa nakunan ni Bahareh ang original photo at iba’t iba ang naging kalakip na kuwento sa social media, pinatunayan ng imahe ang isang malakas na mensahe—na sa kabila ng kaguluhan sa mundo, nananatiling may malasakit sa puso ng mga tao.
