A priest is presently making the rounds on social media after delivering the homily at a wedding, reveaing that the bride was his ex-girlfriend.
He is Father Roniel Sulit a.k.a. Fr. Roniel El Haciendero, also a vlogger with 120,000 subscribers.
In his vlog about his homily, one camera was focused on Fr. Roniel while another camera was trained on the wedded couple—Manuel and Korina.
In his opening statement, he related about the time Korina told him she had gotten engaged.
Fr. Roniel said Korina sent him a picture of her engagement ring with the message: “Father, may content ka na sa vlog mo.”

REVELATION DURING THE HOMILY
Fr. Roniel briefly talked about his past relationship with Korina.
“Andami ko na hong ikinasal, ito yung ako’y pinakananginginig ngayon.
“Ako’y pawis na pawis,” said the priest.
“Si Korina ho ay aking ex.”
The crowd could be heared teasing the priest.
The bride, for her part, laughed quite awkwardly, while the groom looked calm.
So as not make the situation uncomfortable, Fr. Roniel pointed out that, “the past is past.”
“Yun ho ay matagal na at ngayon ay may kanya-kanya na kaming buhay.
“Ako’y pari na at ngayong araw na ito si Korina ay ikakasal na.”
He continued, “At kanina, tinatanong ko si Korina, ‘Ikaw ba’y masaya sa araw ng iyong kasal?’
“Ang sabi niya’y masayang-masaya siya kasi ramdam niya nang dumating sa buhay niya si Manuel, yun ang paggalaw ng Diyos.”
“HUWAG MO AKONG ILALAGLAG”
In the first part of the video, prior to the official wedding, Fr. Roniel was already vlogging the event.
Bantering with Korina just before she stepped down from the bridal car, he was sufficiently warned by the bride.
Korina told the priest, “Kinakabahan na ako sa homily mo. Baka ilaglag mo ko. Huwag mo akong ilalaglag!”
The priest then jokingly teased the bride what she saw in Manny that she didn’t see in him.
Smiling, Korina told Fr. Roniel, “Umayos ka, ha. Andiyan yung mga kamag-anak niya, baka ako’y hindi na patuluyin…”
On a serious note, Korina described Manuel as very kind, and she was really destined to marry him.
As of this writing, Fr. Roniel’s video is no longer available on his YouTube channel.
However, it has been mentioned in Facebook pages that it supposedly garnered millions of views in just a day or two.
