Barbie Forteza and Thea Tolentino's afternoon teleserye The Half Sisters breaks records anew by getting yet another extension.

According to its director Mark Reyes, it was originally set to air for 13 weeks. However, due to high ratings and feedback from viewers, GMA-7 decided to extend its run until January 2016.

The Half Sisters became known for hair-strangling, face-slapping scenes accompanied with heated exchange of dialogues.
