Sa taong ito, ang theme ng film festival spearheaded ng Quezon City Film Development Commission ay "Indie-genius: Next Wave of Philippine Cinema."
Tumakbo mula October 22-31, 2015 ang QCinema International Film Festival sa tatlong sinehan sa Quezon City: ang Trinoma, Gateway at Robinsons Galleria.
Nagkaroon ng Pylon Awards noong October 28 sa Quezon City Museum upang parangalan ang mga natatanging pelikula, directors at mga artista na lumahok sa film fest.
