Maine Mendoza emerged as winner in the Favorite Pinoy Personality at the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards (KCA).
The winner was announced earlier today, March 14, at 11:30 a.m.
She got the highest number of votes in the category compared to other Filipino nominees Kathryn Bernardo, Enrique Gil, and James Reid.
On the other hand, La Salle basketball Player Jeron Teng won Favorite Asian Sports Star.

Last year, Daniel Padilla was nominated for Favorite Asian Act but he lost to Indonesian group JKT48.
However, he did win as Nickelodeon’s Global Slime Star that year.
