Julia Barretto is currently taking ballet classes for her new teleserye to be aired this year.
She revealed this during her June 8 guesting on ABS-CBN's morning talk show Magandang Buhay.
Hosts Melai Cantiveros, Jolina Magdangal, and Karla Estrada were talking with Julia about her hobbies and sports. They then asked her if she also tried learning ballet.
Julia answered, "I'm currently learning ballet for the next soap I'm doing."
The 19-year-old teen actress also said that she's used to playing sports as her hobby, which is why learning ballet is a new endeavor for her. "I was such a sporty child I never imagined myself [doing ballet.]"
She described her experience in learning ballet by saying, "Mahihimatay na ako."
Though she did not divulge any details yet regarding her new teleserye, it was previously reported that she is part of a soap opera starring Bea Alonzo, Enchong Dee, Iza Calzado, and Ian Veneracion.

Julia was last seen in the afternoon series And I Love You So with Miles Ocampo, Inigo Pascual, and Kenzo Gutierrez. The series ran from December 2015 to March 2016.
