Sam Milby will be the object of affection of five girls who are undergoing "heartbreak rehab" in the upcoming movie Camp Sawi.
This was revealed by cast member Bela Padilla to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during the red carpet interview last Monday, July 11, at YES! 100 Most Beautiful Stars event.
"Actually, lima kaming girls maghahati hati kay Sam Milby," said the ABS-CBN actress.
Bela's competitors include Andi Eigenmann, Arci Muoz, Yassi Pressman, and Kim Molina.
This movie directed by Irene Villamor is set in scenic Bantayan Island in Northern Cebu.
According to the 25-year-old actress, they stayed in the island for 10 days to finish the film.
She said, "We stayed in Bantayan Island for 10 days sa Cebu. Although parang hindi naman kami secluded and parang hindi naman kami nakulong kasi sobrang ganda ng island so it was like a workcation.
"I'm happy that were gonna be able to show a Philippines sa mga manunuod."
The girls shared picturesque photos of Bantayan Island on their Instagram accounts during the filming.
In a previous interview, Yassi also said that Sam will be playing a guest role in this new film produced by VIVA Films.
According to her, the story focuses on five heartbroken girls who enter a camp that might help them mend their broken hearts.
When she was asked who will be their leading men, the 21-year-old dancer-actress just answered, “Yan ang dapat pinaka-abangan!”
In a TV Patrol report last month, the movie is said to be based on true stories of counseling and rehab for those who got their hearts broken.
A movie playdate has not been released, but Bela said during the YES! interview that it might be shown on the second week of August.
Andi, Arci, Bela, Kim, and Yassi also sing a heartbreak song in the tune of "Tatlong Bibe," which is titled "Limang Bobo."
