It's Showtime host Karylle will take a break from ABS-CBN's noontime show for several weeks.
The Kapamilya singer/actress is currently on her way to Singapore for an acting project.
On Instagram, she bid her farewell to viewers of the Kapamilya noontime show. Karylle wrote: "I'm gonna miss you guys...boarding in a few minutes ???? see you in a few weeks! #ShowtimeSabaySaAgosTo #sabaytayo @itsshowtimeofficial_ig
Karylle announced her leave from the show last August 9, Tuesday, after performing the song "Sabay Tayo" with her husband Yael Yuzon and members of Spongecola.
The ABS-CBN actress will be part of the Singaporean TV series Private Investigator where she will portray a pole dancer.
Karylle announced, "Magpapaalam lang ako madlang people. For a couple of weeks, pupunta muna ako sa Singapore para mag-shoot ng isang bagong TV show doon. Ang title ay Private Investigator. Ang pangalan ko dun ay si Maiya, isang pole dancer."
The 35-year-old actres/singer further quipped, "Mag-o-OFW muna ako!"
Karylle's co-host, Vice Ganda, congratulated her for this new endeavor.
The comedian told his ViceRylle love team partner, "Congratulations, again! Ikaw talaga 'yan, kaya hindi naman kami nagtataka na ganyan yung mga projects mo, pang-international. Kami dito-dito lang kami pero ikaw, pang-international ka. Yung talent mo talaga, dapat makita at mapanood ng mas maraming audience."
