Alden Richards has just released his new single titled "Rescue Me" from his upcoming third album.
The song was officially released through exclusive radio airplay on Barangay LS FM 97.1.
Aldub Nation tuned in on radio DJ Papa Dan's weeknight show Wanted Sweetheart to hear Alden's new song that aired around 10:30 p.m.
In an interview with GMA Network, Alden said he is more inspired to release a follow-up album after the success of his sophomore record under GMA Records. Titled Wish I May, his second album already received a 7x Platinum award.
Alden said, "Never in my wildest dreams na ma-imagine ko na makakakuha ako ng 7x [seven-times] Platinum recognition. But they say, God works in mysterious ways. So that’s how he’s working in my life right now."
He added, "After the success of Wish I May, ang sarap sundan kasi nga nakakatuwa yung mga sumusuporta sa album."
Last July, the GMA-7 actor completed recording sessions for his third album, which is currently being finalized.
However, the title of his new album and other details including its release date and total number of tracks is yet to be revealed.
