Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista graced the awarding ceremony of the 2016 QCinema International Film Festival.
The awarding ceremony was held at the Quezon City Interactive Museum earlier tonight, October 18.
Joseph The Sand Artist was tapped to perform an intermission number at the event.
In this year's edition of QCinema, seven full-length films competed in the Circle competition.
These were Patay na si Hesus written by Fatrick Tabada and directed by Victor Villanueva; Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B written by Jen Chuaunsu and directed by Prime Cruz; Baboy Halas directed by Bagane Fiola; Best. Partee. Ever. directed by HF Yambao; Hinulid by Kristian Cordero; Purgatoryo directed by Roderick Cabrido; and Women of the Weeping River by Sheron Dayoc.
