ABS-CBN's daytime teleserye Be My Lady, starring real-life couple Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga, is airing its final episode on November 25, 2016.
It was announced earlier today, November 4, that the Kapamilya series will be airing its last three weeks starting next week.
The announcement coincided with the much-awaited marriage proposal of Phil (Daniel) to Pinang (Erich), to which Pinang said “yes.”
Be My Lady is considered as one of ABS-CBN's top-rating shows this year that it was awarded with several extensions.
In fact, the last announcement indicated that the show was extended until October this year.
The highest-rated episode of Be My Lady aired last June 9 wherein it registered 21.7% according to Kantar Media nationwide data. This prompted ABS-CBN to hail DanRich as the Daytime Prince and Princess.
The series, which also stars Janice De Belen and Priscilla Meirelles, started airing last January 18, as the network's opening salvo for 2016.
In fact, it is the only ABS-CBN show that premiered during the first quarter of 2016 that is still airing (except for Doble Kara and FPJ's Ang Probinsyano that started airing last year).
Meanwhile, it was announced by the Instagram account of RSB Drama Unit (headed by Ruel S. Bayani) that Be My Lady will be replaced by Langit Lupa, which is also produced by this same unit.
Langit Lupa is topbilled by child stars Yesha Camille and Xia Bernardo, with Patrick Garcia, Yam Concepcion, and Jason Abalos.
Actress Alessandra de Rossi also makes her return as a Kapamilya as she portrays a special role in this series.

Langit Lupa also features the love teams of Sharlene San Pedro and Jairus Aquino as well as Miho Nishida and Tommy Esguerra in their first teleserye.

The announcement of the series's airing date on November 28 was a cause of celebration for JaiLene and Tomiho fans that their respective hashtags trended on Twitter.
