Eman Abatayo of Iloilo becomes the 12th scholar to be expelled from Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA), the ABS-CBN reality-based talent search. Eman got the lowest number of text and Internet votes among the four scholars under probation.

During the gala night at the PDA Concert Hall last night, December 2, probationary scholars Irish Fullerton of USA, Ronnie Liang of Pampanga, and Panky Trinidad of Cebu were all declared safe.

The three join five others—Yeng Constantino of Rizal, Jay-R Siaboc of Cebu, Yvan Lambatan of Baguio, Rosita Bareng of Dubai, and Chad Peralta of Australia—in the final leg of the PDA competition.

The fate of the eight remaining scholars are now in the hands of viewers. Through text votes, the two scholars who will get the lowest number of votes will be expelled next Saturday, December 9.

The top six scholars, on the other hand, will move on to the grand finals on December 16 at the Araneta Coliseum. One of them will become the first Grand Star Dreamer.
