After 24 years, Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion will reunite on the big screen for a movie to be directed by Cathy Garcia Molina.

The much-awaited reunion movie of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion will finally happen in 2017.

This was revealed by Star Cinema AdProm Manager Mico del Rosario via Instagram last night, December 15, 2016.

He posted his photo of Gabby and provided the caption: "Finally. Sharon-Gabby #2017 #Film"

Gabby was photographed with director Olivia Lamasan and Star Cinema head Malou Santos.

Sharon also revealed on her Facebook account: "The return to the BIG SCREEN of SHARON & GABBY! Brought to you by ABS-CBN FILM PRODUCTIONS STAR CINEMA. COMING TO YOU IN 2017! Directed by Cathy Garcia Molina."

The Megastar also shared throwback photos and posters of her previous movies with Gabby in her Facebook account.

Sharon and Gabby last worked with each other for the 1992 movie Tayong Dalawa.
