In this clip, Joel Torre, who plays Paolo's father in the movie, finally discovers where his gay son's remains are. He confronts Flora, played by Lou Veloso, and Barbs, played by Christian Bables.
Joel's character threatens Flora and Barbs for stealing his son's body and orders the policemen he is with to take the coffin where Trisha's remains are.
Barbs protests, tries to stop the coffin from being taken, and bolts back at Joel.
Those who have seen this clip agree that this scene should have been included in the movie. According to most of the comments, the scene was powerful and heartbreaking. Some are even requesting that the deleted scenes be included in the blu-ray release of Die Beautiful.
But according to Direk Jun himself, they will not be releasing a DVD or blu-ray version of his film, which has won awards from different film festivals abroad and won for Paolo and Christian their best actor and best supporting actor awards respectively.
Here's another deleted scene. Direk Jun warns, though, that this is for "mature viewing only" because the topic and the words used by Trisha, Barbs, Ericka (played by Cedrick Juan) and Paola (played by IC Mendoza).
Direk Jun tweets, "Binura. Hinanap. Binalik. Sa mga nagrerequest, eto na yung deleted scene ng buong barkada. #DieBeautiful MATURE VIEWING ONLY."
