Last night, December 20, ang premiere ng Regal Entertainment film na idinirehe ni Joel Lamangan, which is based on the award-winning graphic novel by Carlo Vergara about a gay beautician who becomes a female superhero kapag nilulunon ang isang napakalaking bato.
It stars Zsa Zsa Padilla as Zsazsa Zaturnnah; Rustom Padilla as Zsa Zsa's gay alter-ego, Ada; Pops Fernandez as Queen Femina, Zsa Zsa's nemesis; Chocoleit as Didi, Ada's sidekick; and Alfred Vargas as Dodong, the leading man.

By 9 p.m., kahit pinapasok na ang mga audience sa SM Megamall Cinema 10, nagka-delay delay naman ang pagdating ng print, kaya alas-dose na nagsimula ang actual showing. Almost half of the audience had left but many more stayed, filling up all the theater seats pa rin.
Ang naging rating ng MTRCB: GP, for General Patronage. This means everyone can watch the movie! This means much better chances at the boxoffice, which relies during the Christmas-season on children and the elders who need to accompany them to the movies. (That's times two right away.) That's the first good news.
Thursday, ipina-review naman ang pelikula sa Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB) for a possible tax rebate. Sixteen board members reviewed the movie. Fourteen graded it an A, two gave it a B. Almost unanimously, Zsazsa Zaturnnah Ze Moveeh passed with an A grade—meaning, it gets a 100% tax rebate!
Zsazsa Zaturnnah is one of the four festival entries of Regal Entertainment and is one of the nine movies competing this year in the Metro Manila Film Festival-Philippines 2006, which starts December 25.
As of press time, three filmfest entries have been given an A-rating by the CEB—Zsazsa Zaturnnah, Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo, and Ligalig.
