Juancho Trivino admits he gets a lot of hate messages these days because of his role in Destined To Be Yours.
Like his co-star Koreen Medina, Juancho has also become a target of bashers because of his role in the upcoming GMA-7 primetime series.
As Badong, Juancho will be closely working with the other half of phenomenal love team AlDub, Maine Mendoza. His character is Sinag's best friend who is also secretly in love with her.
Maine will be the main love interest of Alden Richards in the story.
"Nagsimula na nga na may nagtu-tweet sa akin na, 'Sana best friend ka na lang,'” Juancho told entertainment reporters during the press conference of Destined To Be Yours.
The 23-year-old Kapuso star said he has been trying not to post anything from their taping to avoid negative comments.
However, this didn't help much because, he pointed out, “Kasi, napapansin ko, kahit hindi kami nagtu-tweet, may mga nakakakita at nakakapag-take ng pictures namin.
“'Tapos sine-send sa social media at binibigyan ng interpretation.”
For this reason, the former Magkaibang Mundo actor said, “As much as possible, kahit maging close kami nina Maine and RJ [Padilla], we want to keep it professional sana.
“Gusto ko talaga gawin lang 'yong role ko and as much as possible, be professional.”
Juancho tries not to be affected by the comments he's been receiving.
“Well, gagalingan ko na lang dito sa role na binigay sa akin. I'm very thankful for it.”
Joining the Kapuso young actors in Destined To Be Yours are Sheena Halili, Dominic Roco, Janice de Belen, Lotlot de Leon, Gardo Versoza, Tommy Abuel, and Boots Anson-Roa.
Helmed by Camp Sawi director Irene Villamor, Destined To Be Yours will air its pilot episode this Monday, February 27, on GMA Telebabad.
