Arci Munoz and Gerald Anderson, who were first paired in the 2016 hit movie Always Be My Maybe, will topbill a new movie titled Can We Still Be Friends?
A story conference for this new Star Cinema movie happened on February 28.
In one of Star Cinema's Instagram posts, they tagged Arci and Gerald as #TeamRelate.
The upcoming movie will be directed by Prime Cruz, who used to be a segment producer in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010 and TV5’s reality show Boracay Bodies in 2013.
Prime is also the director behind the indie film Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B starring Ryza Cenon and Martin del Rosario.
A finalist in the QCinema Film Festival in 2016, the film allowed Prime to win the Best Director award.
In her Instagram account, Arci wrote a sweet message for Gerald and greeted him for their first anniversary as an onscreen couple.
It may be recalled that their first movie Always Be My Maybe premiered in cinemas in February 24, 2016.
She wrote, “Happy 1st lablab!!! So happy to do another "relate" film with you! At our storycon for #canwestillbefriends #movie #starcinema #teamrelate”
Gerald answered Arci through another Instagram post.
His caption said, “Hi LabLab Happy 1st Excited to share this new journey with you #teamrelate #canwestillbefriends”
