Alden Richards unleashed his dance moves and gave kilig vibes through his song numbers at his Upsurge concert held last night, May 27.
The GMA-7 actor performed a variety of production numbers that entertained more than 2,000 people present at his concert at the KIA Theater in Cubao.
Of course, the sold-out concert wouldn't be complete without his special guests, including his love team partner Maine Mendoza!
Here are some highlights during Alden's Upsurge concert:
-

Alden Richards made his fans scream at the KIA Theatre when he kissed Maine Mendoza after their performance.
This was after he told her, "Maraming salamat. Nabago ang buhay ko ng isang Maine Mendoza."
-

Alden's spiels involved his personal insights when he met his onscreen partner more than two years ago.
"Sabi nga nila, laging may reasons why we meet people in life. It's either you meet them for them to change your life or vice versa, you're the one that would change theirs."
He then told Maine, "Di ba, Maine, dumating ka sa punto ng buhay ko na chill lang lahat, tapos binago mo."

Maine laughed out loud and observed that Alden treated her differently compared to his other guests.
She said, "Parang di ka naman ganyan kela Jerald [Napoles] noong sila kasama mo!"
Alden then told his love team partner, "Basta in-upsurge mo yung buhay ko, Maine."
-

The AlDub love team performed a duet of Coldplay's song "Yellow."
It may be recalled that Alden and Maine were together at Coldplay's concert last April. Alden even carried Maine on his shoulders so that she could see her favorite band perform!
-

Before their duet, Maine and Alden first performed an interpretative dance number to the tune of "Unsteady" by X Ambassadors.
-

As soon as they were together on stage, the fans of Alden and Maine started screaming inside the concert venue.
-

In line with the water-inspired theme of Alden's concert, the AlDub love team's dance number had a rainy day theme, complete with umbrellas.
-

Alden's opening production number showed his sexy side when he sang and did dance moves for "Cold Water" and "That's What I Like."
-

Alden also performed religious songs such as "One Way, Jesus." The song is part of his second album under GMA Records titled Say It Again.
-

Before performing the songs, Alden thanked the Lord for making his dreams come true, citing the concert as one example.
-

Alden's Sunday PinaSaya co-host Jerald Napoles also entertained the audience by singing Aegis hit "Ulan."
-

As part of the concert, Alden and Jerald did the FlipTop challenge. As Alden was blurting out his lines, Jerald suddenly showed a photo of Alden and Maine's kiss from their Kalyeserye wedding, which brought kilig to the fans!
-

Alden and Jerald also performed a funny dance number.
Prior to their production numbers, Jerald kept on joking that it is his concert and that Alden is only a guest. However, when he asked the audience if they want Alden to go home, the crowd shouted, "Hindi!"
-

Alden also showed off his dancing skills in one production number together with Mark Herras, Kristoffer Martin, and Rodjun Cruz (not in photo).

"Your Guardian Angel," which was originally performed by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, was one of Alden's songs in his concert.
The song is also a part of his Say It Again album. According to the actor, the song is his favorite since high school.
-

At one point in the concert, Alden became emotional when he thanked everyone who supported him. He recalled the time when his late mother Rosario gave him the drive to fulfill his goals and make a name for himself in show business.
-

The 25-year-old actor-singer also sang his first single under GMA Records titled "Wish I May."
The album of the same title allowed Alden to get his first Diamond record award.
-

Alden also granted the wish of a fan and serenaded the lucky girl with Bruno Mars's "It Will Rain."
Whenever he sings the line "If I lose you baby," he looked towards the audience area where Maine was seated!
Prior to this number, he also kept telling Maine that the serenade will only take a short while.
-

Alden was able to perform with one of his musical influences, Janno Gibbs. The two sang the latter's hit, "Pinakamagandang Lalake."
-

One of the highlights of the concert was Alden's performance of the song "God Gave Me You." This was one of the songs used in Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye, which catapulted the AlDub team-up with Maine to become a phenomenal success.
It may be recalled that when he performed this on Eat Bulaga in 2015, Alden became emotional and cried.
During last night's concert, he did not shed tears but just the same, Alden's performance was very emotional.
-

Alden unleashed his dance moves once more when he performed Coldplay and The Chainsmokers's "Something Just Like This."
-

His last performance ended with Alden raising his hand in triumph.
