The June 22 Maalaala Mo Kaya episode garnered chart-topping ratings of 36.2% nationwide last Saturday, based on Kantar Media data.
The MMK episode emerged as the most watched primetime show last Saturday among urban and rural households in the Philippines.

The episode, titled "Ilog," featured Nikki Gil and co-star Nikki Bagaporo in a true story about two sisters involved in a love triangle, yet working at keeping their family intact despite their predicament.
In her Twitter account, Nikki thanked her fans and viewers when she posted: "Thank you for watching MMK guys :'-) still so overwhelmed. Sobrang nakakataba ng puso..."
The said MMK episode also landed at the tenth spot among Philippine trending topics on Twitter.
