Kris Aquino finally confirmed that she will be part of the Hollywood adaptation of Crazy Rich Asians.
This is after novel author Kevin Kwan confirmed that the veteran TV host will play "a very special part" in the movie.
In an Instagram post last August 18, Kris posted a behind-the-scenes video during her photo shoot for the upcoming book-signing event with Kevin.
She also thanked the bestselling author for confirming her inclusion in Crazy Rich Asians.
The 46-year-old actress wrote, "Thank you @kevinkwanbooks for CONFIRMING my role in #CRAZYRICHASIANS! THANK YOU for the kind words you had to say "I have a soft spot for her... She is Kris Aquino, what else is there to say?..."
"Most of all THANK YOU for loving the [Philippine flag emoji] and Filipinos. The feeling is definitely reciprocal! [heart emoji]."
Meanwhile, Kris didn't mention the role that she is set to play in the Hollywood movie.
However, she answered one comment from a netizen who was guessing about her role.
The netizen said, "Kris is Felicity or Feona or Eleanor"
Kris only replied, "no I'm not [crown emoji] SURPRISE [rose emoji]."
During his August 18 interview with Karen Davila in Headstart, Kevin revealed that Kris is part of the movie adaptation starring Constance Wu and Henry Golding.
Kevin and Kris have yet to meet each other in person.
It was also announced that Kris will join Kevin in a book-signing event that will be held in Cebu.
