Filipino-American singer Angelica Hale placed second during the finals of America's Got Talent Season 12.
The winners were announced during the show's finale on the morning of September 21, Thursday (Manila time).
During the announcement, the ten-year-old singer became emotional when she thanked everyone who supported her throughout the show.
She said, "No matter what happens, I am still a winner so thank you America for everything that you have done for me."
Angelica, who hails from Atlanta, Georgia, earned a standing ovation from the judges for her final act, after she effortlessly belted out her rendition of Clean Bandit's "Symphony."
Singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer was proclaimed as the 12th season's winner.
Dance group Light Balance placed third, deaf American singer Mandy Harvey came in fourth place and dog trainer Sara Carson and her dog Hero placed fifth.
According a report published on September 21 by Dailymail.co.uk, Angelica Hale will be joining Darci Lynne for two dates at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas this November.
As the AGT Season winner, Darci Lynne receives a $1 million prize and her own show in Las Vegas.
