Judy Ann Santos must be one of the country's more influential celebrities. She has a list of topgrossing movies, toprating teleseryes, and several endorsement deals under her name.
In 2004, her star power helped a certain senatorial candidate up the ranks from the 19th spot to the top 12.
This campaign season, Juday's phone must be ringing off the hook.
PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asks Juday if she will be supporting Bebong Muñoz—boyfriend of her friend and Ouija co-star Jolina Magdangal—in his congressional bid in Caloocan.
Juday answers, "I guess kung kaya ng schedule ko, bakit hindi, 'no? Kung halimbawang may libre akong time, bakit hindi? Wala akong nakikitang problema."
She adds, "I would also be supporting Kuya Kiko [Pangilinan] for senator, so sasama rin ako sa kaniya sa mga campaigns niya. Inaayos lang namin ‘yong schedule.
Kiko, husband of Megastar Sharon Cuneta, is running for re-election as an independent candidate in the coming elections.
Sharon and Juday have been good friends ever since they made the movie Magkapatid in 2002. Sharon would always say that she considers Juday as her younger sister.
