Marco Gumabao is not transferring to GMA-7.
He clarified this through his Twitter account minutes after he reposted the report of PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) about his first acting project with the Kapuso network.
The 23-year-old actor is set to top-bill the episode of Wish Ko Lang this Saturday, November 4, together with One Up member Yasser Marta.
Marco wrote in his tweet, "To everyone asking if i transferred to GMA already, no, i transferred to viva. It's different. being in viva means i can work for both."

Marco clarifies that he is now a freelancer, and not an exclusive artist of any TV network.

In September, Marco left Star Magic after five years to transfer to Viva Artists Agency.
Prior to his transfer to Viva, the 23-year-old actor starred in consecutive ABS-CBN projects from 2015 to 2017. These include Ningning (2015), Tubig at Langis (2016), Magpahanggang Wakas (2016), FPJ's Ang Probinsyano (2017), and Pusong Ligaw (2017).
It has yet to be announced if Marco's Wish Ko Lang guest appearance will be followed by another GMA project.
