Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla's comeback movie Unexpectedly Yours has already reached the P100 million mark.
This is according to an Instagram post of Star Cinema earlier today, December 4.
The rom-com movie, which also features the JoshLia love team of Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia, was able to reach this milestone in a span of six days.
Unexpectedly Yours tells the story of a middle-aged woman named Patty who has a complicated relationship with her daughter (Julia) while experiencing feelings of inadequacy in her workplace.
Patty crosses paths with Cocoy (Robin), a former schoolmate who becomes her neighbor. The two develop a cat-dog relationship with each other until they eventually fall in love with each other.
Unexpectedly Yours, which opened in cinemas last November 29, had a box-office gross of P14 million on opening day.
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, this movie is graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
