Maine Mendoza is back on GMA-7's noontime variety show Eat Bulaga!
This was after she took a vacation from the show for more than a month. She celebrated Christmas with her family in the United States.
Maine joined the opening number of the Kapuso noontime show's New Year's episode earlier today, January 1.
Just like the usual Eat Bulaga! set-up on a weekday, she joined the "Juan For All, All For Juan" segment held at Barangay Dela Paz, Pasig City. She was with other hosts Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Anjo Yllana, Jimmy Santos, and Paolo Ballesteros.
Meanwhile, other Dabarkads Vic Sotto, Senator Tito Sotto, Joey de Leon, Ruby Rodriguez, Pia Guanio, That's My BAE boys, and Maine's love-team partner Alden Richards were all at the Broadway Studio.
From the studio, Senator Tito—also called Tito Sen by his fellow hosts—asked Maine if she can still speak in Tagalog, since she stayed in the U.S. for some time.
He asked, "Ikaw ba Maine, marunong pang mag-Tagalog?"
Maine quipped, "A little bit, Tito Sen! Siyempre naman, Tito Sen! Tagalog na Tagalog!"
Senator Tito smiled and told her, "Akala ko nakalimutan mo managalog, e!"

On Twitter, Maine posted a photo of herself with the JoWaPao trio, whom she addressed as her "mga mahal kong kuya."
She wrote, "Ang swerte ko lang na nakakasama ko sila araw-araw. Hay, mga mahal kong kuya! Namiss ko kayo sobra sobra!"

Prior to her January 1 return, Maine's last appearance on the show was on November 27, 2017, a day after she released her controversial open letter on Twitter.
Rumors floated at the time that Maine was suspended from Eat Bulaga.
However, host Vic Sotto denied the rumors, saying that Maine took a vacation leave from the show.
Last December 19, Maine's manager Rams David announced that the TV host-actress will definitely return to Eat Bulaga!
