The Cure is one of the announced GMA-7 programs to be aired in 2018. It will depict a family trying to survive an epidemic. In 2013, GMA already announced that it would air The Cure, which is about a group of people trying to find a solution after zombies infested their town. It was rumored back then that Louise delos Reyes and Alden Richards would top-bill the show. However, it did not push through.

GMA-7 has released another omnibus plug showing the titles of the TV programs set to be aired this 2018.

The teaser was shown during the New Year Countdown event of GMA last December 31, 2017.

This included five shows previously announced through a separate omnibus plug: The One That Got Away, Sherlock Jr., Contessa, The Stepdaughters, and Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka.

These shows will air within the first quarter of 2018.

Meanwhile, GMA added 15 more titles that are set to air this year, including 11 TV series and four reality programs.

KWENTO NG PAGMAMAHALAN. The drama shows of the Kapuso network were segregated into two branches: Kwento ng Pagmamahalan and Kwento ng Pakikipaglaban.

No cast members have been announced yet regarding these TV shows, but the plug dropped hints regarding the plots of these TV shows.

The most prominent of these is THE CURE, which is about a family fighting against an epidemic.

It may be recalled that the show was already part of GMA's upcoming programs in 2013, without announcing any cast member.

The Cure was initially about a group of people trying to find a solution after zombies infested their town.

Back then, there were rumors that Alden Richards and Louise delos Reyes were supposed to top-bill the show. However, the project was shelved and the LouDen tandem moved to another drama project titled Mundo Mo'y Akin.

This is not the first time, however, that the Kapuso network will air a drama series titled Ganti.

LARAWAN NG TAGUMPAY. The teaser showed GMA-7's upcoming reality shows that were announced in November 2017.
