Sarah Geronimo had a witty comeback for a fan who urged her to get married already.
This happened while the 29-year-old singer-actress was opening up to her fans during her concert held at the Kupferberg Center for the Arts in New York last May 6 (Monday in Manila).
“Minsan po sumasagi pa rin siya sa isip ko, the heart...” she said before a female fan yelled, “Mag-asawa ka na!"
In response, Sarah quipped: "Huwag po kayong ganyan! Kausapin niyo po yung nanay ko. Huwag ganyan."
The ABS-CBN star was referring to her mother, Mommy Divine.
Sarah continued: "Nagtatrabaho po ako, ma'am. Wait lang, ma'am. I'm working here. Don't distract me, ma'am. Because I'm distract-able!
"Asan na nga ba ako? Ma'am kasi sabi ko, huwag niyo ako idi-distract."
The Popstar Princess is currently in a four-year-relationship with fellow Kapamilya star Matteo Guidicelli.
Sarah's candid reaction was captured on video by an Instagram user using the handle @roy_regina_anderson. The Instavid was accompanied by the caption:
"She is very funny! Sabi ng isang nanay magpakasal na daw sya tapos sabi nya nadistract tuloy sya! Natawa ako sa kausapin nyo po nanay ko"
