After three years, Claudine Barretto is set to make her comeback to the big screen.
The 38-year-old actress announced this on Instagram last May 10.
She posted a photo together with VIVA Films head honcho Vic del Rosario, Jr., The IdeaFirst Company President Perci M. Intalan, and Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, who is set to helm the movie.
According to her post, Claudine will start filming the movie in France this July 2018.
Claudine wrote, "Palanggas im Ready & Excited with my movie with Direk @sigridandreapbernardo will be Shooting the Movie in FRANCE by July this is it my PALANGGAS IM SO READY! ARE YOU ALL READY & EXCITED MY CLAUDINIANS?????????????????? #blessedbeyondwords im so excited to work with the very TALENTED DIRECTOR,not to Mention she looks like an Artista diba Direk Sigrid?"
Bernardo is the director of the box-office independent film Kita Kita, starring Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez, which was shown in 2017.
She also helmed the movie Mr. and Mrs. Cruz starring Ryza Cenon and JC Santos.
The movie earned for Ryza the Yakushi Pearl Award at the Osaka Asian Film Fest on March 2018.
Claudine's last movie was the 2015 film Etiquette for Mistresses, which was produced by Star Cinema.
