Former ABS-CBN actress Kyline Alcantara recently congratulated her friend Janine Berdin for winning Tawag ng Tanghalan Season 2.
Kyline is now known as Cheska/Crisel in the GMA-7 prime-time series Kambal, Karibal.
Janine emerged as the champion of the singing competition that aired as part of the Kapamilya noontime program It's Showtime.
Through her IG stories, Kyline greeted Janine by posting their throwback photo and accompanying it with the text: "Proud of you, @janineberdin. Congratulations! You deserve it"
Kyline and Janine met each other when they competed in ABS-CBN's Star Circle Quest Season 4. In this 2011 edition, Brenna Penaflor and Clarence Delgado emerged as the Grand Questors.
Janine became the 4th semi-finalist while Kyline made it to the Magic Circle of 10.

Janine, who was 8 years old back then, portrayed both Mara and Clara in a short skit showing an intense confrontation between the two characters.
At one point, Janine even grabbed her own hair and pretended to be hurt by her nemesis.
In 2013, they also became part of the Kapamilya teleserye Annaliza, which was top-billed by Andrea Brillantes.
In late 2017, Kyline switched networks and signed up with GMA Artist Center.
