The movies Ang Larawan and Seven Sundays went home with major awards at the recent 36th Luna Awards, which was held last Saturday, September 29.
Ang Larawan, which was an entry to the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival, received the Best Picture trophy, along with other technical awards.
Star Cinema's Seven Sundays, meanwhile, received the Best Screenplay award.
Seven Sundays lead actor Aga Muhlach and Ang Larawan lead actress Joanna Ampil took home the Best Actor and Best Actress trophies.
Jasmine Curtis-Smith bagged the Best Supporting Actress trophy for Siargao while John Arcilla earned the Best Supporting Actor award for the film Birdshot.
In her Instagram account, Jasmine thanked the organizers of the event, the Film Academy of the Philippines.
She wrote: "Happy Sunday you say? OH YES Thank you Film Academy of the Philippines for the recognition as Best Supporting Actress for @siargaothemovie at last night's 36th Luna Awards My unending thanks to Direk @paulsoriano1017 and the entire Siargao family Time to celebrate by looking for some waves!"
