ABS-CBN recently opened its newest attraction called ABS-CBN Studio Experience (Studio XP) at the Ayala Malls TriNoma in Quezon City.
Select members of the media, including PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), were given the chance to experience all the attractions and games featured in the Studio XP, including the 80-seater Kapamilya Theater, which features 4D shows like the ASAP in 4D.
ABS-CBN Themed Experiences Inc. head Cookie Bartolome, in her welcome message, proud told the press and other schools that the 4D attraction has features that are first of its kind in the Philippines, including interactive games.
She explained, "We gave out consoles to our guests and that serves as their navigation device so that they can play against each other, 40 people against 40 people. So there's the Probinsyano, La Luna Sangre, and Bagani game.
Patrons can also experience being grilled by Boy Abunda in the Tonight With Boy Abunda simulation at its StarLabs feature.
During the press visit, guests were treated to a surprise call by one of ABS-CBN and Star Magic's prime celebrities: Piolo Pascual!

Before entering the Studio Experience, patrons are treated to a "Heroes Burger." The menu uses names of Pinoy Superhero characters such as Darna, Captain Barbell, and Lastikman.

Once you enter ABS-CBN Studio Experience, you will be welcomed by virtual photographers at the red carpet at its Walk of Fame area.

The Studio Experience features a replica of the famous ABS-CBN Millennium Satellite tower seen at the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center in Quezon City.

There is also a short video showing the history and old programs of the Kapamilya network.

Patrons may also be surprised by a random celebrity in the Celebrity Caller booth. In our case, a lucky patron was able to answer Piolo Pascual's call!

In It's Showtime Director's Booth, a patron may experience the role of a TV crew member, and get the chance to orchestrate a variety show.

A patron can also be a housemate when they enter the Pinoy Big Brother house inside the Studio Experience. A task must be completed within 15 minutes for you to enjoy the attraction. Meanwhile, real housemates are set to experience Pinoy Big Brother once it opens its doors once again for its eighth season this November 10.

Kapamilyas who will visit the ABS-CBN Studio Experience can also experience being a contestant of Minute To Win It.

For instance, PEP.ph writers James Patrick Anarcon and FM Ganal were able to play the Ball Cap game, with Luis Manzano virtually giving instructions to the players.

In the Ball Cap game, the player must remove the tansan over the bottle by bouncing a small ball. (Everyone may think it's so easy but it took the PEP.ph writers more than two minutes to finish the challenge!)

In the Starsnaps booth, patrons may take photos with their favorite celebrities or be a part of their favorite teleserye's posters.

One of the most visited attractions in the Studio Experience is The Voice Open Mic, where patrons can perform their favorite song as blind auditionees and find out who among The Voice coaches Sharon Cuneta, Lea Salonga, Bamboo, and Sarah Geronimo will turn a chair for them.

The fantasy studio caters to adventurous kids and patrons who go through challenges that are themed with ABS-CBN characters.

Patrons may also buy keepsakes and memorabilia from their favorite celebrities and TV shows at the ABS-CBN Store section.
As Bartolome puts it, "ABS-CBN Studio Experience is better experienced than explained.
Guests can enjoy Studio XP at affordable rates, with XPass Prime tickets priced at P375 for first-timers and at P350 for returning guests with access to all attractions except #Starsnaps and Star Catcher.
There is also the XPass Lite option at P300 for first-timers and at P275 for returning visitors which excludes access to the Kapamilya Theater, #Starsnaps and Star Catcher.
