Ruffa Gutierrez doesn't mind if her estranged husband Yilmaz Bektas happens to show up unannounced at her birthday celebration on June 24.
"I'll accept Yilmaz as my guest and probably call on the kids and we'll share a table together," said Ruffa when asked about the possibility of a one-night reunion. Ruffa was interviewed by TV Patrol World.
"Alam mo naman si Yilmaz, he's full of surprises," she added with a beam.
Ruffa signed a three-picture contract deal with Regal Films yesterday, June 19, prompting the controversial statuesque actress to remark: "Mother's my savior."
She was referring to Regal Films matriarch Lily Monteverde, of course. Mother Lily was standing beside her when she blurted that out.
After weeks of tension brought about by her separation with Yilmaz, Ruffa's aura drastically shifted from distraught to composed.
"I'm very thankful with all the blessings na dumarating, so siguro naman dapat lang na matuwa ako," said Ruffa.
Now that she's active once again in showbiz, what does her ex-husband say about it?
"I'm sure Yilmaz won't mind as long as I choose the projects and as long as hindi ko pababayaan ‘yong mga bata," said Ruffa, referring to daughters Lorin and Venice.
