Boxing aficionados from all over the country should not miss this Friday's episode of Beki Boxer as Alwyn Uytingco takes the ring towards his character's entry to professional boxing.
After the successful schemes by boxing syndicate big boss Dalmacio (played by John Regala) against his family, Rocky Ponciano (Alwyn Uytingco) is forced to level up to the much complicated and competitive world of professional boxing. And while he's a step closer to his dreams of becoming a world-class champion boxer, Rocky faces tougher opponents and bigger challenges in the newest chapter of his boxing career.
Alwyn, known as "The Tsunami" in Beki Boxer universe due to his signature tsunami punch, will be facing real-life boxing legend, WBC Silver World Champion Denver "The Excitement" Cuello in the ring.
Cuello, aged 27, has a record of 33 wins of which 21 are knockouts. The Ilonggo boxing champ would be playing the role of Marvin "The Hammerhead" Ortega and is only the first of Rocky's list of fierce opponents to battle in his journey to become a professional boxing champion.
