Last Friday, March 29, GMA-7 aired the finale of My Special Tatay after six months.
In this afternoon series, Ken Chan portrayed a father with mild intellectual disability.
The final episode jumped forward in time to show the situations of the characters after two years.
Aubrey (played by Rita Daniela) looked glum as she handed him a pregnancy test.
Boyet (played by Ken Chan) comforted her by telling her, "Huwag ka na malungkot. Kung wala tayong bagong baby, susubukan natin gumawa ng baby ulit."
However, when he looked at the pregnancy test, Boyet pointed out, "Meron ka nang bagong baby!"
Their son Angelo will now have a sibling.
The ending showed Boyet playing with a paper airplane that had the name of his son Angelo and their still-unnamed baby.
Boyet vowed to his mother, "Promise, magiging mabuting tatay ako kay baby Angelo at sa bagong baby."
The My Special Tatay episode ended by showing the birthday celebration of Angelo.
Boyet led the prayer as he said: "Papa Jesus, maraming salamat dahil masaya kami at sama-sama kami sa birthday ni Angelo."
Through his voiceover, Boyet expressed his gratitude by saying, "Sabi nila espesyal ako dahil may kondisyon ako.
"Papa Jesus, salamat binagyan niyo ako ng pamilya na tinanggap ako bilang ako. Mahal na mahal ko silang lahat.
"Sana kung may kakilala kayong kagaya ko, mahalin niyo rin sila at itrato na parang normal. Salamat po!"
