“Wala akong maisusumbat.”
"That has really been the bulk of my work with GMA.
"And I’ve been very lucky, so thankful to the organization, to let me to do documentaries through I Witness.
"And we’re still going to do a special once a month," paliwanag ng news anchor sa presscon ng GMA News Online program na Stand for Truth noong April 5.
"You have to keep on evolving still. Parang I’m always asking: what’s the next step? What do I have to learn? Where am I lagging behind?”
"In many ways, this online news cast is a testament—that need to challenge yourself to be even better further.
"There’s no resting on your laurels.
"That’s true for GMA, and that’s true for myself, as well, as an individual, especially in this line of work."
"You really never become an expert at it.
"You’re always learning something new and the technology keeps on changing to adjust and, sometimes, it’s exhausting, but it is what it is."
Dagdag ni Atom, "So, right now, even as I’m trying to become an even a better documentarist, I’m trying to become a multi-platform journalist by taking advantage of an expanding digital audience to do multi-media: writing text stories, trying to improve my photojournalism, or even exploring other methods of story-telling.
"I guess I’ve just been very lucky to be able to have this opportunity that not a lot of people have.”
