Alex Gonzaga personally apologizes to Paranaque mayor over 'may pagkamadugas' comment

Alex Gonzaga reaches out to Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez after her "may pagkamadugas" comment during the campaign trail became viral. News reports said, many residents of the city pushed for the council to declare the Kapamilya star "persona non grata" in their place.

Personal na nagtungo si Alex Gonzaga sa tanggapan ni Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez ngayong Huwebes, May 23.

Ito ay upang humingi ng paumanhin sa kanyang mga nasabing hindi maganda tungkol sa alkalde noong panahon ng kampanya.

Ayon sa tweet ng ABS-CBN News reporter na si MJ Felipe, “no hurt feelings” ang re-elected mayor sa Kapamilya TV host-actress.

Naiintindihan daw niyang bahagi lamang ito ng pulitika sa ating bansa.

Naging laman ng balita noong nakaraang linggo ang posibilidad na ideklarang “persona non grata” si Alex sa Parañaque dahil sa mga pinagsasabi nito laban sa kanilang mayor.

Maraming supporters ni Olivarez ang hindi natuwa sa binitiwang salita ni Alex noong nagawi ito sa Parañaque para ikampanya ang iniendorsong party-list.

Pinasaringan ni Alex si Olivarez na mayor na “may pagkamadugas.”

Sa panayam naman sa kapatid ni Alex na si Toni Gonzaga, sinabi nitong personal na itong inaayos ni Alex at makikipagpulong ang kapatid sa kampo ng Parañaque mayor.
