Itinanghal na Miss Philippines Earth 2019 ang TV host mula sa Pasig City na si Janelle Tee.
Si Janelle ay kilala bilang host ng Chinoy TV at naging co-host din siya sa GMA-7 game show na Wowowin.
Ipinasa ni Miss Philippines Earth 2018 Celeste Cortesi ang korona kay Janelle matapos nitong talunin ang 39 iba pang kandidata mula sa iba't ibang panig ng bansa.
Ginanap ang grand coronation ng Miss Philippines Earth 2019 nitong Miyerkules, July 10, sa Okada Manila, Parañaque City.
Narito naman ang Elemental Court ni Janelle:
- Miss Earth Philippines Air: Ana Tan, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental
- Miss Earth Philippines Water: Chelsea Fernandez, Tacloban City
- Miss Earth Philippines Fire: Alexandra Dayrit, Marikina
- Miss Earth Philippines Eco-Tourism: Karen Piccio, Maasin, Iloilo
Para sa question-and-answer round ng pageant, isang tanong ang sinagot ng limang kandidata sa loob lamang ng 30 seconds.
Ang tanong: "Which do you think is a better strategy to encourage more people to be environmentally conscious: give incentives to for good environmental practices or penalizes bad eco habits and why?"
Ang winning answer naman ni Janelle ay ito: "I would choose to give incentives because as a productive country, we know that we have a lot of communities that needs help in terms of livelihood projects and that's what I've been doing with ABS-CBN Foundation.
"And that's why I wanted to choose incentives because we have to teach how to fish rather than just give them a fish for a day. Because if we teach them how to fish, then it would become there for a living and it would be there sustainably in them. Thank you."
Bukod sa Miss Earth Philippines 2019 crown, ilang special awards din ang naiuwi ni Janelle.
