Kapuso actress Michelle Dee is crowned Miss World Philippines 2019.
The 24-year-old daughter of Miss International 1979 and actress Melanie Marquez took home the crown during the pageant's grand coronation held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Sunday night, September 15.
Besting 39 other candidates, Michelle will compete at the 69th edition of the Miss World pageant, which will be held on December 14, at the ExCeL London in London, United Kingdom.
OTHER WINNERS
Michelle is not the only showbiz personality who won a crown during the grand coronation of Miss World Phillipines 2019.
Her fellow Kapuso star Kelley Day was adjudged Miss Eco Philippines 2019, and singer-acrress Isabelle de Leon was named Miss Multinational Philippines 2019.
Other title holders are Katrina Llegado, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019; Glyssa Perez, Miss Philippines Tourism 2019; and Vanessa Mae Walters, Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019.
The runners-up are Shannon Kerver (1st Princess) and Casie Banks (2nd Princess).
Completing the top 12 are Tracy Maureen Perez, Billie Hakenson, Michelle Arceo, and Michelle Thorlund.

Winners of the fast track challenges were also announced at the pageant's grand coronation night.
Fast track challenge winners were guaranteed a spot in the Top 22 semifinalists.
