(SYTYCD).
Bailey Muñoz was recently named the winner of So You Think You Can Dance Season 16.
The 19-year-old dancer was able to beat fellow finalists Mariah Russell, Gino Cosculluela and Sophie Pittman who finished second, third, and fourth, respectively.
Bailey, also known as BailRok, is a native of Las Vegas. He took home the $250,000 grand prize and will have a cover article in Dance Spirit.
In a previous episode, SYTYCD judge Dominic Sandoval praised Bailey by saying, “You’re a b-boy, but you’re like Magic Mike the Filipino version.”
In 2018, Filipino-American dancer Hannahlei Cabanilla won in the previous season of So You Think You Can Dance.
Bailey will join the rest of the Top 10 during the show’s 40-city tour. This will start on October 12 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and end on December 6, 2019 in Reno, Nevada.
Before joining So You Think You Can Dance, Bailey reached the semifinals of America’s Got Talent in 2010.
