After three long years, English rock band The 1975—composed of Matty Healy, Adam Hann, Ross MacDonald, and George Daniel—has finally made its way back to Manila.

Last September 11, members of the pop rock band brought their self-titled tour to the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The Philippine concert was produced by MMI Live with Smart Communications.

In an interview with MYX Philippines before the show, Matty said the Philippines will always be special for the band.

He explained, "It's was the first that we came where we felt like famous, or kinda like... I don't know. People were so like, screaming and stuff. So yeah, it's an amazing country. We love it. We'll always come back here."

This is the band's fourth time to hold a concert in the Philippines following their last visit for the In The Mix music festival in August 2016.

The 1975's first visit to the country was in March 2014 for a series of mall shows. They came back in January 2015 for their first solo concert at MOA Arena.

For over an hour and a half, The 1975 delivered their finest pop-rock performances during their 23-song setlist.

London-based Filipino artist No Rome, whom the band worked with in the past, served as the front act.

After a short break following No Rome's set, the band's song "The 1975" from their self-titled debut album was played with the lyrics flashed on the huge LED screen on stage.

Moments later, The 1975 rocked the stage with their latest song "People," which will be included on their Notes on a Conditional Form album that will be released in February 2020.

The band quickly followed it up with their performances of the songs "Give Yourself a Try" and "TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME."

During the band's performance of their third song "She's American," Matty invited the crowd to sing louder with him.

The band members continued with their performances of the songs "Sincerity Is Scary" and "It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)," both from their third studio album A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships (2018).

At one point during these performances, Matty instructed the crowd to back up and give each other space.

After their first few performances, Matty thanked everyone who went to watch their concert. He told the crowd, "Everybody showed up! It's a full house for The 1975. Hey guys, thank you so much for coming this is crazy!"

After Matty gave this spiel, pink lights filled the arena, signaling the band to perform the song "Love Me."

The 1975 toned it down a bit through their performance of "I Couldn't Be More in Love." The LED wall behind the band showed rainbow colors as they serenaded the crowd with their rendition of the song "Loving Someone."

Matty addressed the crowd once again and said they will most likely come back in 2020 for another concert.

He told the audience, "We're doing another album at the moment, so we'll probably come back next year. That's how it works... That would be our fourth album."

The band continued to wow the crowd with its performance of "A Change of Heart."

Matty brought No Rome back on stage to perform their collab "Narcissist."

Fans were thrilled to hear the band perform "Depth," another track from the band's upcoming fourth studio album.

The band continued playing some of their most popular tracks including "Robbers," "fallingforyou," and "I Like America & America Likes Me."

The band gave the concert-goers a major goosebump moment as they performed the song "Somebody Else."

This was immediately followed by some of their older hits including "You," "Girls," and "I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes)."

For the last part of the concert, the band's song Notes On A Conditional Form version of the song "The 1975" played on stage while the band takes a short break.

Fans sang along as the band continued the show with their performance of "Love It If We Made It." The audience continued singing while the boys play out their popular hits including "Chocolate" and "Sex."

The 1975 ended their show with a bang and set the stage on fire with their song "The Sound."
