GMA-7's prime-time series, The Better Woman, ended its run last Friday, September 27, 2019.
In this Kapuso TV series, Andrea Torres played the twins Jasmine (the good one) and Juliet (the evil one). They became rivals after Juliet had an affair with Jasmine's husband, Andrew.
In the final episode, Jasmine came to rescue her sister Juliet from the latter's lover, Ronaldo (Tommy Abuel).
Juliet and Jasmine tried to escape, but Jasmine lost consciousness because of her heart ailment..
Ronaldo was able to catch the twins. Juliet tried to grab Ronaldo's gun from him, but she was accidentally shot by her lover.
As Juliet and Jasmine fought for their lives, the two saw each other in the afterlife. Juliet told Jasmine to be strong in her battles, and said, "Palagi mo akong kasama, sis. Nandiyan lang palagi sa puso mo. Hindi kita iiwan."
Apparently, Juliet was killed by the gunshot, and her heart was donated to Jasmine.
As a result, Jasmine successfully gave birth to her child with Andrew.
Six years later, Jasmine and her family gathered for her birthday celebration.
A colorful butterfly landed on Jasmine, and she greeted it by saying, "Happy Birthday to us, Ate Juliet."

According to Kantar Media, The Better Woman got a TV rating of 16.6%.
Its rival program on ABS-CBN, The Killer Bride, registered a rating of 17.8%.
The Killer Bride is top-billed by Maja Salvador, Janella Salvador, Geoff Eigenmann, and Joshua Garcia.
Meanwhile, in AGB NUTAM Ratings, The Better Woman won against The Killer Bride.
The Better Woman got a rating of 10.4%, while The Killer Bride got 9.2%.
