Paolo Ballesteros is now the title holder of the Walang Kukurap Challenge (No Blinking Challenge) segment of Eat Bulaga.
In addition to this, the Filipino actor was able to beat the world record set for the longest time without blinking. He achieved this feat during the October 5, 2019 episode of Eat Bulaga.
According to the GMA-7 noontime show, Paolo was able to beat Pauleen Luna's previous record of 33:44.
Dabarkad Paolo was able to keep his eyes open without blinking for 1 hour and 17 minutes.
The Instagram account of Eat Bulaga posted an announcement saying:
"MAY NEW RECORD NA TAYO! Na-beat ni Dabarkads Paolo ang oras ni Dabarkads Pauleen na 30:44 sa oras na 1 HOUR, 17 MINUTES sa Bawal Kumurap! Di lang 'yan! Na-beat na niya din ang world record! Congratulations Dabarkads, Paolo!"
According to RecordSetter, Michael Thomas of Florida kept his eyes open without blinking for one hour, 5.61 seconds.
Using her Twitter account, Maine congratulated Paolo by writing, "Ang lala mo, @pochoy29!!!! Hahahahaha yung world record 1hr 5mins lang! IBA KA!"
In response, Paolo wrote in the comments section: "Ikaw na next hahahha"
