Beauty queen Samantha Ashley Lo upset by fake news about Venezuela hotel where she will be staying

Nakiusap si Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2019 Samantha Ashley Lo na tigilan na ng netizens ang pagpapakalat ng maling balitang nasusunog daw ang tutuluyan niyang hotel sa Venezuela.

Lumipad si Samantha papuntang Caracas, Venezuela, ngayong Miyerkules, October 9, para sa grand coronation ng Miss Grand International 2019 na gaganapin sa October 25.

Bago siya umalis, nag-post si Samantala sa Instagram ng larawan niya hawak ang watawat ng Pilipinas.

Nakalagay sa caption: “Fast forward 3 months: The Samantha here is the product of all the love, support, and nurturing done by amazing people who constantly told her 'Yes you can, and you will.'

"See you soon Venezuela.”

Ngunit bago pa man makalipad ang eroplanong sasakyan niya, nakatanggap ng balita si Samantha na nasusunog daw ang hotel na tutuluyan niya sa Venezuela.

Kaya naman kaagad siyang nag-post ng paglilinaw sa kanyang Instagram Stories.

Saad ng beauty queen, “Good morning everyone, for those who have heard the 'news,' no, my hotel in Venezuela is not on fire…

“I have already contacted Ms. Teresa of MGI in Venezuela and she has assured me everything is perfectly fine.

“I am very upset to be met with this kind of fake news on the day I embark to Venezuela, a competition I poured in my heart and soul into preparing and training for.

“If I have time before my flight I will be going live to address the people of my country about my status and other news.”

SAMANTHA: “DO NOT FORGET THE QUEEN THAT I AM.”

Isa pang screenshot ang ibinahagi ni Samantha sa kanyang IG Story.

Nakasaad dito ang mensahe niya sa account na nagpakalat ng fake news.

Sabi niya sa kanyang mensahe, “Please remove the news about the hotel being on fire.

"This is not true and I have confirmed it with Liliana and Teresa.

“Do not post any further negative comments or news.

“This is unnecessary and invalidates everything I have work tirelessly for.

"Minor pageants do not give a $40,000 cash prize and a home in another country.

“I was very excited to go to Venezuela, I have absolutely no malice for anyone in this pageant, and now I am stressed because I am embarrassed because I AM THE ONE who has to personally go and apologise for STUPIDITY.

“How can I invite people to my country and say how great it is when there is bullshit like this our on social media.
