Sabi pa ni Ting, “We were very surprised but very elated that were chosen for MMFF because we totally didn’t expect it but of course it’s something that we’re very proud of and honored.”

Tugon niya, “Well sa amin, more than anything, we’re more than happy if it finds its audience and sa amin kasi ang audience nito ay ang millennials ano.

“And right now, the way we assess, it’s the only romantic comedy among the eight entries.”

Pagdating naman sa awards, sabi pa niya, “We never expect awards.

“If it comes, it comes. We’re always very proud to win anything but we don’t make movies to win awards.”

Sabi naman ni Ed, “We just liked the story.

“We did Sunday Beauty Queen, Birdshot.

“We also did I’m Drunk, I Love You.

“So, we don’t stick to any genre, we look at the story.

“And we want to tell as well as we can because the Filipino public, the viewers deserve the best that we can make.”

Dagdag pa ni Ting, “It’s a good story. That’s it.

"And once it’s a good story, we don’t even decide, 'Ano ba ito, mainstream ba ito?'

"We just want to make this kind of movie.”
