Fans can look forward to seeing their favorite stars during the annual Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars.
The MMFF 2019 Parade of Stars is touted as the longest one yet at 15.2 kilometers. MMDA expects the parade to take around 8 hours.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes as some major roads in Taguig City will be closed this Sunday, December 22.
Accoprding to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the MMFF 2019 parade, will run from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The floats of all MMFF 2019 entries will start at Lakeshore C-6 and end at the McKinley West Open Ground.
Last year, the MMFF parade route was only around 6 kilometers. The Best Float of MMFF 2018 went to the Coco Martin-starrer Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles.
Here are the MMFF 2019 entries that are expected to take part in the Parade of Stars:

Portions of Taguig to Implement Road Closures, Stop and Go Scheme for MMFF Parade of Stars
"The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMFF) today advised motorists to avoid major roads in Taguig City that will be affected by the Metro Manila Film Festival's (MMFF)’s Parade of Stars on December 22, Sunday.
"The parade, hosted by the City of Taguig, will start at 12nn from Lakeshore C-6, right turn to M.L Quezon Avenue, left turn to MRT Avenue, then right turn Cuasay, right turn to CP Garcia (C-5) Service Road, then left turn to Upper Mckinley Road, right turn to Lawton Avenue – 5thStreet, right turn again to Mckinley Parkway, left turn to 32nd Street, left turn to 7th Avenue, right to 26th Avenue, left turn to 5th Avenue, right turn to LeGrand Avenue and Chateau Road.
"Floats carrying celebrities of official movie entries in this year's film festival will be featured in the parade.
"Road closure will be implemented along ML Quezon (from Dr. A. Santos to MRT), along MRT (from M.L Quezon to Cuasay), along Cuasay (from MRT to C-5), and in C-5 Service Road cor. Cayetano Boulevard.
"Counterflow vehicles will be allowed along Upper Mckinley Road from C-5 to Lawton Ave., Lawton – 5th Street from Upper Mckinley to Mckinley Parkway, and along 32nd Avenue (from Mckinley Parkway to 7th Avenue).
"Stop and go traffic will be implemented at C-5 - Upper Mckinley, C-5 Service Road – Sampaguita bridge, Mckinley Parkway – 26th Avenue.
"Affected roads will be opened by 7pm.
"Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
"The MMFF is an annual event organized primarily to help promote and enhance the preservation, growth and development of the local film."
Another announcement made by the MMDA indicated that the stars will have a presentation at the end point of the parade at the McKinley West Open Ground.
"Ngayong darating na linggo na (Dec.22; 1:00 P.M.) ang pinaka-aabangan nating PARADA NG MGA ARTISTA sa TAGUIG CITY!!
"Mula sa LAKESHORE C-6 patungong ML Quezon, MRT Ave, Mckinley Parkway, 32nd St., 7th Ave., 26th Ave., 5th Ave., LeGrand Ave., Chateu Road at magtatapos sa MCKINLEY WEST OPEN GROUND kung saan may kaunting pagtatanghal na magaganap ang mga artista.
"Makikita natin sa kani-kanilang mga floats sina Vic Sotto, Iza Calzado, Miles Ocampo, Coco Martin, Aga Muhlach, Carmina Villaruel, Judy Ann Santos, Vice Ganda at NAPAKARAMI pang hinahangaan nating mga artista!!
